When you purchase ClubAlert, you will get 2 Transmitters and a Monitor. Each Transmitter will protect a single golf club, and additional ones can be bought separately.
After unpacking the items, and switching each on, there is a short 'learning process' to be followed that will 'pair' the Tansmitters to your Monitor. This ensures that you only get alerts for your clubs, and not those of others. |

Clubs should be carried as usual, in a bag, and the Monitor should be clipped to a belt or held in your pocket whilst playing.
When a club is removed from the bag, a light sensor will switch on the Transmitter, which will then 'talk' to the Monitor. All the time it is in this 'Club Out' mode it will be communicating.
If the club is left behind, and you walk away from it whilst it is in the 'Club Out' mode, the Monitor will 'realise', wait for a few seconds, (just in case you're already on your way back), and then start to vibrate-Alerting you !
When you get back to your club, the Monitor will 'know', and start communicating again.
When the club is put back in the bag, it will tell the Monitor it is about to go into 'sleep mode', and then switch off.
If two or more protected clubs are taken from the bag, they will be monitored independently, and if any one of them is left behind, the Alert will occur.
